...is a partnership administrated by the Yukon 66 Main Street Association board of directors in partnership with the City of Yukon. Yukon became an Associate Main Street Program in 2014 and graduated as a fully, designated OK Main Street program in 2019. The Y66MSA was incorporated in 2017 as a 501c3, non-profit organization.
Y66MSA Mission is to preserve and enhance Yukon's rich cultural heritage, nurture an entrepreneurial environment, and position the Main Street district as a destination.
Y66MSA Vision: At the crossroads of the historic Chisholm Trail and Route 66 Yukon, the Czech Capital of Oklahoma is paving the path to active local living in a culturally-driven tourist destination.
Y66MSA utilizes Main Street's 4 Point Approach as the framework to develop transformational strategies. These four points [Design, Economic Vitality, Promotions, and Organization] work together to build sustainable, downtown revitalization efforts that are incremental, ongoing, and comprehensive with a broad base of support.
